What's this? Comic art? Indeed!

I've had sketched out references for Abraxas, Nadira, and Caius sitting around in my WIP folder for ages, so I decided it's about time I finish some of them up. I'm keeping all of their designs fairly simple this time, just so it's easy to redraw them fifty thousand times in comic pages haha.

I'm actually really in love with this design for some reason. <33 It's simple, but I think it works rather nicely. :)

So here, have a reference for my protagonist!

Yay! Great to see you getting back into the comic, and good idea keeping the character designs simple (it will help you in the long run :))
If I may, I will add a bit of critique. First up, your lion anatomy is pretty good and it is perfectly fine for a stylised comic. If you are looking for more anatomically correct lions you could reduce the paw size and tail tuft, and make the body a bit longer (one thing I will suggest is to make Abraxas's right hind leg a bit longer, it seems to be hovering above the ground).
To be blunt, I don't think the markings around his eyes suit him. Specifically, the dark grey curve underneath his eye makes him look a bit tired and wary (which to the best of my knowledge does not match his personality).
One last point I will make is that the black colouring on his lip stands out too much against his muted fur colour. Lightening it a few shades should do the trick.
